If you are looking for a badass mc with lots of action, good world building, some mystery, some revenge and lots of thrill and satisfaction dont hesitate and give it a try. People aren't just dicks because they are. They are, but not completely! It's impressive for this type of work.
But hear me out: unlike usual power fantasies, the characters aren't completely two dimensional. Then the characters are kind of like the ones in usual power fantasies. But it wasn't. well maybe it is and the guys he killed are fake or something but I don't want to continue. It should be the overarching plot-the end goal. And the fact that(kind if spoiler-y)the protagonist avenges his brother so early on is even more testament to lack of planning. After the tutorial, the quality declines. It starts off with an interesting premise, but I feel like the author only had the beginning thought out in his head when writing. He gets some of his brothers powers and levels up quickly. We start off with the protagonist who wants to avenge his brother who was killed in another world. Overall, I would definitely recommend giving it a read.A power fantasy with a great start but quickly kills itself after a few dozen chapters. It's future also seems very exciting with the idea of gods and demons existing on the 98th floor and their occasional interactions with the mc. Though it's story/characters may not be enough to set it apart from other manhwas of the same genre, the extremely detailed artwork and fights are what makes it worth reading. The only characters that really stood out were the Martial King and Henova since they were able to get some kind of development out of the mc. First of all, there are way too many characters including mc's spirits and allies and almost none of them have any substantial character development besides getting slightly stronger. This is probably the weak point of this manhwa. The fight are very detailed and fun to read through, and character design is great as well. The art is the reason why I started and continued this series. The revenge plot is what drives the story, though in later chapters it kind of gets lost in the multitude of things going on. The story is good, but it almost always falls back to tropes of the genre(mc beats everyone and gets some new op power), and we have yet to see some substantial character development besides mc getting stronger.
Though, it does a good job portraying mc's character as "evil", in a The only complaint I would have is that occasionally it seems to waver from the original "revenge" theme and blends with the usual tower climbing content that leaves the main goal unclear. The thing that really sets this one apart is the art. It has almost unparalleled action sequences, a solid storyline that has most of the usual leveling up/tower climbing tropes. It has almost everything you would expect, and a little more on top of that. On a op mc manhwa splurge? If so, this one definitely won't be a disappointment. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to read something after solo leveling. I've reread this manhwa 2 times and show no signs of stopping any time soon. The goblin is a character that is handled very differently from cliches and is a breath of fresh air. A lot of them fall under the various cliches they are known for but it is handled really well and keeps the reader very entertained. Character designs are my only small complaint because some major characters have very bland designs.Īll the characters are very well written including The action paneling flows very well and is very easy to process. The premise is different from others in the same realm by choosing not to go the 'being reborn' route.Īrt is absolutely phenomenal with the various vibrant and detailed backgrounds/monsters/weapons/items, etc. The lore is nicely developed and so is the worldbuilding. The story has a clear goal that the mc starts to follow from the 1st chapter. One of my favorites in the 'op revenge-driven mc' genre of manhwa.
